NAOS Office, London

NOAS is a beauty, health and wellbeing company with three brands: Bioderma, Institut Esthederm and Etat Pur. To support the growth of the company in the UK, NAOS secured a loft space in London’s fashionable Shoreditch. Office Design London: The Shoreditch Loft style Consistent with the company’s ethos, NAOS’s Alessandro Ibelli and Sandrine Boix sought an office design that was financially responsible, sustainable, and reflected the on-trend Shoreditch Warehouse Loft style. The office design also had to reflect the crisp marketing imagery and pastel colours of the NAOS product containers to create a showpiece for the brand. Led by Rype Office, the design transformed the space in the Shoreditch Loft style by updating the lighting, kitchen, IT, security, and adding a timber finish floor and glass partitions. Space efficiency was maximised to fit as many staff as possible into the floorplate. Within the open plan space, three zones were created: desking, kitchen/breakout with a high bench table and visitor space with sofas and product display shelves. High Quality Remanufactured Furniture High quality furniture was sourced from the office clearance market and restored to pristine condition through remanufacturing and refurbishment. This included:
  • Italian designed and made Minotti leather sofas formerly adorning the lobby of a city private equity firm
  • Vitra meeting chairs, which were reupholstered, along with the desk screens, in a range of pastel colours.
  • Top-of-the-range Orangebox G64 desk chairs, also reupholstered as part of the remanufacturing process
  • Senator and Herman Miller desks, whose screens were recovered to suit the pastel colour scheme
On Time and Budget The office fitout was delivered on time and to a tight budget, thanks to the remanufactured office furniture supplied by Rype Office, which cost less than half of the new price.
