Provenance:
The Rype Zero is a Circular Economy revolution in the office furniture industry. Its upcycled base, mechanism, shell and arms are sourced from the Orangebox G64 (originally designed by Giroflex), which won the Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) Award for Ergonomics Excellence. These parts are remanufactured using a quality-controlled engineering process to return them to as-new condition. Added to them are pads that have been redesigned for greater ergonomic comfort and up-to-date aesthetics made in the UK by one of the leading car and aircraft seat manufacturers. These are then covered in hardwearing 100% recycled polyester fabric to create the first upcycled office chair in the UK with a Net Zero Carbon footprint.

Mesh back Orangebox Do HBA task chair.
This is the ideal chair for flexible working offices because it automatically adjusts its support to the weight of the user without having to be set by the user. For most other chairs with this automatic adjustment (e.g. Humanscale), users have no ability to lock the back angle if required. However, these chairs come with a tilt lock mechanism already fitted (usually an upcharge), meaning its adjustability should appeal to most users.

Opportunity soft seating
Rype Office designed the Opportunity family of bench seats, sofas, banquette seats and booths to provide a consistent look in breakout, casual working and canteen environments. The frames are made by the Merthyr Tydfil Institute for the Blind from hardwearing plywood for multiple lives.

Designed by Rype Office, the Opportunity seating family includes bench seats, sofas, banquette seats, stalls and booths. The most popular item in the range is the Opportunity Booth for 4 or 6 people. These are deployed in breakout areas, canteens and informal meeting spaces and are highly utilised due to their flexibility, suiting one-on-one meetings, team meetings, private working and eating. 450mm high seat to enable comfortable working at a desk-height table.
